In China, the "West-to-East Power Transmission" and "North-to-South Power Transmission" projects transport abundant energy resources from the western and northern regions to meet the high electricity demands of the eastern and southern regions through ultra-high voltage grids. These projects are pivotal in optimising the nationwide allocation of power resources. Remarkably, Innovation Group supplies 70% of the high-strength superconducting cable materials used in these initiatives.
We have initiated or participated in the formulation of multiple national standards in this field. Through the development of proprietary alloy element ratios and sequencing, coupled with specialised manufacturing processes, we have achieved up to a 25% improvement in performance metrics over standard cables. Key improvements include enhanced conductivity, tensile strength, current-carrying capacity, and fatigue resistance. This results in reduced energy loss and increased transmission capacity.
Even under harsh environmental conditions, these products maintain stable performance, meeting the demands of ultra-high voltage, long-distance, and high-capacity power transmission while showcasing advanced technology, cost-efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
