On August 7th, the 6th China Aluminum Industry High-Quality Development Conference, sponsored by the China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association, was held in Huolin Gol City, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. With the theme of "Strengthening the Leadership of Scientific and Technological Innovation to Empower Comprehensive Green Transformation", the conference gathered over 300 representatives from relevant government departments, experts and scholars, as well as industry organizations, research institutions and well-known enterprises. They discussed the new situation of green aluminum development, explored new paths for the development of the green aluminum industry, and joined hands to promote the high-quality development of China's aluminum industry.
Meng Xiandong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee and Secretary of the Tongliao Municipal Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony of the conference. Gao Jiye, Vice Chairman of the Tongliao Municipal Political Consultative Conference and Secretary of the Huolin Gol Municipal Party Committee; Zhang Qiang, Member of the Party Committee of the China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association and Executive Director of China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Technology Development and Exchange Center Co., Ltd.; Cui Lixin, Chairman of Innovation Group; and Du Xiaoping, Chairman of Du's Group, delivered speeches respectively at the opening ceremony. Ji Haiyang, Deputy Secretary of the Huolin Gol Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, made a promotional presentation. He Weijing, Deputy General Manager of China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Technology Development and Exchange Center, presided over the opening ceremony.
In his speech, Cui Lixin, Chairman of Innovation Group, stated that through more than a decade of exploration, Huolin Gol City has achieved a win-win situation in both economic and social benefits of the green electricity and aluminum industry. He hoped that industry enterprises would seize the opportunity of Tongliao City's modern energy pilot construction and deeply participate in the building of Huolin Gol City as "China's Green Electricity and Aluminum City". Shandong Innovation Group and Inner Mongolia Chuangyuan Metal will take root in Huolin Gol City, carry out actions to extend, supplement and strengthen the industrial chain, work with investors to seek common development, and contribute to the green and low-carbon transformation of China's aluminum industry.
Meng Jie, senior expert of the Aluminum Industry Branch of China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association; Zhu He, chief macro analyst of SDIC Futures; Wang Weidong, chief expert of Beijing Antaike Information Technology Co., Ltd.; Cao Xi, deputy director of the Scientific Research and Innovation Center of Shenyang Aluminum and Magnesium Engineering and Research Institute Co., Ltd.; Xu Changrong, chairman of Beijing Lanpufeng Technology Co., Ltd.; and Zhao Rentao, professor of North China University of Technology, delivered keynote reports respectively, with the titles being Current Situation and Work Focus of China's Aluminum Industry, Those Who Understand the Situation Prosper, Those Who Are Good at Breaking Through Stand Firm, Current Situation Analysis and Trend Outlook of China's Aluminum Processing Industry, Development and Application Practice of New Technologies in Aluminum Industry – New Technologies for Electrolysis Carbon Reduction and Intelligentization, Consolidating the Intelligent Foundation to Empower High-Quality Development of the Aluminum Industry, and Innovation in Intelligent Feeding Paradigm – Multi-Parameter Collaborative Optimization and Energy Efficiency Leap of Aluminum Electrolytic Cells. Yang Peng, director of the Quality and Standards Division of the Science and Technology Department of China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association, presided over this session.
During the conference, the People's Government of Huolin Gol City and relevant enterprises held a signing ceremony for key projects.
To gain a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the development of industries such as green aluminum and new energy in Huolin Gol City, the participating representatives also went to relevant enterprises for inspection and research.
