On July 22, Fan Shunke, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and chairman of the China Nonferrous Metals Processing Industry Association, led a delegation to visit Innovation Group for research on business operations and future development plans. The research team was accompanied by Cui Lixin, chairman of Innovation Group, Zhang Xianqiang, Party Committee secretary and general manager of Innovation Group, and Wang Wei, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of Innovation New Materials.
Fan Shunke and his delegation toured Innovation Group's product exhibition hall and intelligent production workshops for extrusion and recycled aluminum. They gained detailed insights into the group's remarkable achievements in areas such as R&D of high-end aluminum alloy materials, optimization of production processes, application of intelligent manufacturing, and green low-carbon development. He spoke highly of Innovation Group's commitment to innovation-driven growth, promotion of industrial upgrading, and proactive deployment in the field of strategic emerging materials.
Following the tour, both parties held a discussion where Fan Shunke fully affirmed Innovation Group’s achievements in three key areas:First, the group has achieved comprehensive improvements in production and operations, product structure, industrial chain layout, and economic efficiency.Second, it has accelerated its global expansion, with new and expanded projects for high-end aluminum alloy profiles—such as automotive lightweighting and 3C electronics—launched in industrial parks in Shandong, Yunnan, Inner Mongolia, and Jiangsu. Projects in Vietnam and Saudi Arabia have further optimized the supply chain and expanded the international market.Third, the group has strengthened its sense of corporate responsibility and mission by advancing green, low-carbon development. This includes expanding into recycled aluminum, hydropower-based aluminum, and aluminum powered by renewable energy, actively promoting sustainable growth in the industry.
Fan Shunke offered three suggestions for Innovation Group’s future development:First, expand high-end aluminum alloy segments such as 3C electronics, automotive lightweighting, and cables to enhance product added value.Second, optimize the global layout, invest prudently, and accelerate the progress of ongoing projects to achieve production targets.Third, strengthen independent innovation, promote green and low-carbon initiatives as well as digital transformation, increase the proportion of green aluminum and clean energy usage, and advance both technological and industrial innovation to continuously enhance core competitiveness and ensure its leading position in the industry.
Chairman Cui Lixin expressed gratitude to the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association for its long-standing care and support. He provided a detailed overview of Innovation Group’s specific initiatives in technological R&D, green and low-carbon development, and market expansion. Emphasizing his dual roles as head of the group and vice president of the association, Cui stated that Innovation Group is committed to contributing to the advancement of both the industry and the association. He further pledged to thoroughly implement the guidance received during the research visit, deepen innovation-driven strategies, optimize the industrial structure, accelerate global expansion, and advance green, low-carbon, and digital transformation. The group will strive to achieve greater breakthroughs in high-end aluminum alloy materials and deliver greater results in high-quality development.
During the meeting, industry experts and scholars from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and Beijing Antaike delivered thematic reports on key aluminum industry sectors, including bauxite and alumina, aluminum electrolysis and carbon emission reduction, aluminum processing and international trade, aluminum carbon anodes, red mud utilization, and recycled aluminum. They conducted in-depth analyses of the current status and challenges within each sector, proposing corresponding solutions and improvement measures to provide scientific references for enterprises' future development.
Participating in the event were:Li Defeng, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Aluminum Branch;Wang Jiwei, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Recycling Branch;Mo Xinda, Director of the Light Metals Department of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and Deputy Secretary-General of the Aluminum Branch;Jin Haiming, Secretary-General of the China Nonferrous Metals Processing Industry Association;Ren Bofeng, General Manager of Beijing Antaike Information Co., Ltd. and Deputy Secretary-General of the Aluminum Branch;Yang Fuqiang, Assistant General Manager of Beijing Antaike Information Co., Ltd.;Huo Yunbo, Senior Expert at the Aluminum Division of Beijing Antaike Information Co., Ltd.;Wang Nannan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Aluminum Carbon Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.
