To thoroughly implement the "Work Safety Month" initiatives and enhance overall safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, Chuangxin Group launched a "Spot the Safety Hazard" knowledge contest across its subsidiaries starting June 17. Themed "Everyone Advocates Safety, Everyone Can Respond – Identifying Hidden Hazards Around Us," the campaign reinforced safety protocols through its dual education-competition approach. On June 27, after rigorous preliminary rounds, seven finalist teams emerged: Innovation Metal, Innovation Plates, Innovation Precision, Chuanghui New Materials, Chuangfeng New Materials, Innovation Beihai, and Innovation Foil. The finals were attended by senior executives including Wang Wei (Deputy Party Committee Secretary of Chuangxin Group & GM of Innovation New Materials), Fan Guobin (Assistant to Chairman & GM of Innovation Plates), Li Peibin (Deputy GM of Innovation Plates), Wang Xielin (Deputy GM of Innovation Precision), and Li Na (Director of Enterprise Management Department), with over 100 employees witnessing the event.
Prior to the finals, Fan Guobin, Assistant to the Chairman of Chuangxin Group and General Manager of Innovation Plates, delivered an opening address. He emphasized that work safety serves as the bedrock of corporate development, directly impacting the lives and family well-being of every employee, as well as the Group's sustainable growth and social stability. He urged all subsidiaries to leverage this competition as an opportunity to further entrench safety-first principles, strictly comply with work safety regulations, and collectively foster a secure and harmonious working environment.
At the competition venue, the seven teams engaged in intense contests across multiple segments—including individual mandatory questions, group mandatory questions, buzzer rounds, and risk challenges—centered on core safety topics such as special equipment operating procedures, confined space operations management, and emergency evacuation protocols.During the mandatory question rounds, participants combined independent problem-solving with team collaboration, demonstrating both personal knowledge mastery and collective coordination. The buzzer segment ignited fierce competition as teams vied to answer, with scores constantly shifting and momentum peaking with each round.The audience interaction segment saw over a hundred employees actively participating in Q&As, vividly embodying the event’s ethos of "Everyone Advocates Safety, Everyone Can Respond." Finally, the risk challenge round tested contestants’ quick decision-making abilities and in-depth safety expertise under pressure.
After rounds of intense competition, Innovation Plates claimed the first prize, while Innovation Metal and Innovation Precision secured second prizes. The third prizes were awarded to Innovation Foil, Chuangfeng New Materials, and Innovation Beihai.
In his concluding remarks, Wang Wei, Deputy Party Committee Secretary of Chuangxin Group and General Manager of Innovation New Materials, emphasized: "In safety, there are no bystanders—only participants." He urged all employees to leverage this competition as a springboard to integrate the 'Everyone Is a Safety Officer' mindset into daily routines, carrying out regular self-inspection, self-correction, and self-improvement at their posts. By implementing hazard spotting in concrete production activities, the company can achieve closed-loop risk management throughout operational processes, collectively safeguarding the enterprise's sustainable stability.
This competition has effectively ignited company-wide enthusiasm for learning safety knowledge and honing safety skills, further consolidating all-employee safety responsibility. It lays a solid foundation for Chuangxin Group to build an intrinsically safe enterprise.
